Job Summary: The Groundskeeper at the Sioux Falls Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel is responsible for maintaining the grounds of the hotel and performing basic repairs to ensure the property is well-maintained and operates smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the pool area and exercise room
- Keep grounds clear of visible trash and cleans the parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance thoroughly, including weed removal
- Performing basic repairs to hotel property as needed
- Completing work orders promptly
- Assisting with other maintenance tasks as needed
- Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction
- Keep the storage area clean every day and lock all storage areas before clocking out
- Verify that all exterior lights are working properly
- Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Prior experience in grounds-keeping and basic repairs preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour paid bi-weekly
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
