Description
Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Senior Technical Writer / Management Analyst (Contingent upon Award) to support advanced defense acquisition programs with a focus on Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. The successful candidate will provide technical documentation expertise in support of NAVAIR programs and ensure clarity and compliance in all written deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit technical content including requirements documentation, specifications, program plans (e.g., program protection plans, RMF mitigation plans/risk burn downs), and technical portions of statements of work.
- Develop Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) assessments related to aircraft and pod product programs.
- Assist with the creation and coordination of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and technical review documentation derived from Prime Contractor submissions.
- Apply government-mandated processes for formatting, style, and content guidance to ensure written materials are clear, concise, and aligned with program standards.
- Support documentation efforts in compliance with acquisition lifecycle requirements and contribute to program planning documentation.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree (MA/MS) in a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in roles involving technical writing or program analysis.
- At least 5 years managing technology development programs related to Electronic Warfare (EW).
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated technical writing experience.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting NAVAIR technical writing requirements as outlined above.
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and DoD acquisition documentation.
- Strong written communication and editing skills tailored to a technical audience.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering data and translate it into user-friendly documents.
- Experience coordinating across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and with Prime Contractors.
