Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Vice President Business Development (SVPBD) will be responsible for leading the company’s growth strategy by identifying, evaluating, and acquiring new oral health practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in oral health. The CBDO will work closely with the executive team to ensure that acquisition targets align with the company’s strategic goals and will oversee the entire acquisition process from initial contact to integration.

 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and practices.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate their strategic fit with Paradigm Oral Health.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including practice owners, industry associations, and financial advisors.
  • Identify and initiate contact with potential acquisition targets, leveraging industry contacts and networks.
  • Lead the due diligence process, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and valuation of target practices.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of acquisitions, ensuring favorable outcomes for Paradigm Oral Health.
  • Oversee the integration of acquired practices into the company, working closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Monitor the performance of acquired practices and implement strategies to maximize their profitability and alignment with company goals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to the CEO and Board of Directors on acquisition activities, pipeline status, and market trends.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions, or related fields, with a focus on healthcare or oral surgery.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring and integrating healthcare practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in conducting due diligence and valuation.
