Hybrid Party Host - Secrest na Apex Park and Recreation District, CO

About the Department

As a Party Host, you’ll ensure birthday parties and private rentals are set up for success. You’ll be responsible for preparing the party area, greeting guests, overseeing the flow of the event, and assisting with cleanup. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being helpful and keeping things organized. As a Secrest Recreation Center team member, flexible availability is necessary. Part-time party hosts are required to work closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

 

• Set up tables, chairs, and party supplies prior to events
• Greet and direct families and guests upon arrival
• Monitor the party area to ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the event
• Be available to assist guests with questions or minor needs
• Help manage time to ensure the party stays on schedule
• Clean and sanitize party space after each event
• Reset areas for the next group or rental
• Tear down tables and chairs after each event

Position Duties

• Must be 17 years or older
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Friendly and professional with guests of all ages
• Able to work weekends and some holidays as scheduled
• Previous customer service or facility support experience is preferred but not required.

Minimum Qualifications

No specific education requirement. All levels welcome. 

Other Qualifications

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and move furniture. Capable of light physical labor, including lifting up to 25 lbs and moving tables/chairs. Hearing and visual acuity must be sufficient to perform the job's essential functions.
