Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. Hiring immediately for 3rd shift Machine Adjusters / Trainees in our Jersey City, NJ manufacturing plant.
Machine Adjuster Pay/Schedule:
- Starting pay $20/hr+ depending on experience + $1/hr 3rd shift premium
- 3rd shift 11pm -- 7am; Training is on 1st shift -7am -- 3pm
- Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/based on business needs.
Machine Adjuster Responsibilities & Daily Duties:
- Sets up and adjusts converting equipment for safe and efficient operation.
- Start-up, adjustments involving close tolerances, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Change window rolls (overhead); Examines product to ensures quality process is followed.
- Assists in adjuster/operator training; Provides coverage if needed
- Performs preventative maintenance to ensure consistent quality production.
- Overtime as needed; Compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Machine Adjuster Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-
- Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
- Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather; Mental alertness to stop equipment.
- Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
