Unit Description:Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook. Our new hotel features 300 luxurious rooms and suites. Southland is located in West Memphis, Arkansas, only a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
Responsibilities:- Monitor all areas of the property, including gaming and cage activity, food and beverage activity, and security of the facility
- Observe and report procedural violations and illegal activity
- Provide written reports and log entries on any observed violations and illegal activity in a timely manner
- Ensure that all cameras and computer systems are operational at all times and that all state racing and gaming regulations and policies are followed
- Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary material
- Minimum of 1 year experience in casino suveillance as an agent or operator in the monitor room; prior casino gaming, loss prevention, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Understanding of all table games and ability to utilize multiple programs to research and investigate table games, slot system, F&B transaction data, license plate recognition, guest ID, and surveillance system analytics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses
- Computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to listen and speak to communicate via two-way radio system
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
