- Central Seattle Clinics: Wednesday (6 hours), Thursday/Friday (11 hours) Saturday (10 hours). Start and end times to vary by clinic.
- Clinic positions require you to attend 3-4 weeks of training. The first week will be at our Bellevue location and partially remote. The remaining weeks of training will include traveling to multiple clinics in the area.
- Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional and mandatory training requirements that are outside the regular shift hours.

- Check patients in and out for appointments and maintain the patient’s demographic and insurance information.
- Process patient payments and expertly offer customer service to patients, helping them understand their insurance costs.
- Interview patients, record their medical history and take vital signs while adhering to all medical standards.
- Apply splints and dressings, and facilitate simple wound management under provider orders.
- Process and document specimen results, maintaining laboratory standards and completing proficiency testing to ensure certification completion.
- Assist providers during exams and procedures, administer medications and vaccines, and deliver emergency care as needed.
- Educate patients on how to navigate their ZoomCare medical record.
- Maintain patient’s demographic and insurance information.
- Perform blood draws and finger sticks while adhering to all written laboratory standards.
- Maintain supply inventory; order, receive, and store supplies and maintain basic medical equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to problem solve, provide feedback, and creatively brainstorm ways to improve the patient experience at ZoomCare.
- Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat.
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKG) when indicated.
- Collect various specimens from patients, such as blood, urine, or throat swab samples, based on standing orders and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
- Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
- Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire, and be able to complete the ZoomCare accelerated phlebotomy course.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire.
- Must have a Medical Assistant- Registered license.
- Preferred: Current licensure/certification as a; Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant Certification or prior experience as a Medical Assistant - Registered.

- Hourly Pay rate: $27.00 - $35.00 DOE
- Other Compensation: May be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses
- Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
- Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.
- Prolonged periods working at a desk and on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
- Patient volume may often require working more than scheduled hours per week or outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties
- Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator. Must wear a mask as needed
