- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Prior grants experience preferred.
- Experience with computer word processing, Microsoft Office applications, and Google Suite
- Minimum of four years experience in performing secretarial or general work in an office with considerable public contact, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training that demonstrates desired knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Experience with evaluating other employees preferred.
- Knowledge, skill and or experience in the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) strategies or be willing to receive training in those strategies
- Ability to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

- Perform all duties in accordance with Federal and State laws, district procedures, and Board policies, including mandatory reporting procedures.

Responsible for all reporting requirements for each grant as identified by ADE to include monthly cash management reports and annual completion reports.
- Responsible for preparing, submitting and monitoring budget details for each grant. Federal grants management will include grant work on Title I, Title II, Title IV, and other Federal grants as assigned. Support of other grants managers would be expected.
- Supervision of the Curriculum Grants Management Specialist.
- Assist in writing and applying for grants.
- Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts it into usable form.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position, budget, or as assigned.
- Assist in a wide variety of confidential, administrative and secretarial support to the assigned District Office Administrator. Including, but not limited to, placing and receiving telephone calls, and screening unexpected callers.
- Process incoming correspondence and mail.
- Ensure information obtained through the course of duties associated with this position is held in the highest of confidentiality.
- Refer non-job specific inquiries to appropriate departments.
- Maintain a regular filing system, and a set of locked confidential files, and maintains and processes incoming correspondence, documents and materials as instructed and for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties, and sets up conferences and related travel, and processes purchase requisitions. Visions software experience is preferred.
- Maintains documents, files, and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date accounting of departmental budgets.
- Compose complex documents (e.g. correspondence, reports – Consolidated State Performance Report, Comparability Report, Final Consolidated Plan, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information to school and district personnel, the public and state officials, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of capital and supply requests, other site purchases, and tabulates budgetary transactions.
- Participate in training to stay current in the grants assigned to manage. This could include out of town conferences, weekend training, etc.
- Provide training and supervision for the other Curriculum Grants Management Specialist.
- Communicate with Federal, State and local representatives, and responds to inquiries of staff, other educational institutions, the public, parents, and/or students for the purpose of providing information and/or direction as may be required.
- Evaluate situations (e.g., involving other staff, students, parents, the public, etc.) for the purpose of taking appropriate action and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
- Monitor assigned District activities and/or program components for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established financial, legal, and/or administrative requirements.
- Support the assigned District Office Administrator for the purpose of providing assistance with administrative functions.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Curriculum Grants Manager reports to the Director of Curriculum & Instruction. The Curriculum Grants Manager will interact cooperatively with all other staff positions. All elements of good human relations will be practiced.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
INITIAL WAGE PLACEMENT PLAN: Starting at $16.85 Per Hour
WORK YEAR: 12 Months / 8 hours per day
