Job Summary

Under general direction to manage office duties, inventory, fleet, business development, and to assist the BOM and branch staff as necessary. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Managing the office and assisting the Branch Operation Manager and the Headquarters support departments (Inventory, Purchasing, Fleet, HR, etc.) with clerical duties, data entry, and required paperwork.
  • Organizing crew plumbing technicians’ meetings and safety training. 
  • Maintaining inventory in the warehouse daily to include keeping up to date with inventory in the system and plumbing vehicles.
  • Responsible for auditing and reviewing one bay per day to validate inventory on hand vs. inventory recorded in system. 
  • Restocking inventory as it comes in and be sure it is received in system correctly.
  • Checking, assisting in and maintaining inventory standards in each technician’s van.
  • Perform other related and assigned duties as needed, within your scope of practice. 
  • Completes all the required Company training/compliance courses assigned.
  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiative for repipe & service work. 
  • Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients, HOA’s etc.
  • Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services
  • Conducting market research to identify future business opportunities. 
  • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth with Home Depot.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Executive team and Branch Operations Manager to ensure set goals and objectives for the Nevada market are met. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent.

Experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years of related experience required. 
  • A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Analyzes and resolves problems, determines work duties, monitors regulatory compliance, maintains production, interprets and maintains policies, and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge. Ensures departmental goals and objectives, functions with independence and makes decisions on matters of significant importance. Manages human, financial, and/or physical resources; proactively assesses risk to establish systems and procedures to protect organizational assets. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Enforce systems to ensure technicians adhere to policies and procedures in compliance with organizational goals and objectives. 

License & Certifications

  • State specific valid Driver’s License and the ability to adhere to safe driving practices. 

Skills & Abilities

This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions. Proficient in a second language such as Bulgarian or Russian is preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

Travel Requirements

  • 10% travel required.

Physical Requirements

  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with our without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
  • Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of occasionally and/or minor amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
  • General Hazards: Exposure to a variety of physically hazardous conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working with explosives, on scaffolding, and /or high places. 
  • Extreme Heat, Outdoor: Exposure to weather related extreme temperatures, wind, rain, and/or humidity with no effective protection from heat. 
  • Excessive Noise: Exposure to sufficient noise (caused by machines, music, voices, etc

Work Environment

  • Personal Protection Equipment must be utilized.
