Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Reports To: Inside Sales Manager

Location: Columbia, MD

 

Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting goals and objectives by covering all sales functions in an assigned territory: forecasts, solicits and secures orders from potential and existing customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  •    Call on existing accounts and new prospects in respective territory to sell Ambu products.
  •    Establish a strong, trust-based working relationship with Medical Executives.
  •    Create new opportunities in Strategic product accounts.
  •    Manage front end stages of the sales cycle: pipeline management, forecasting, and prospecting.
  •    Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customers, prospects and decision makers.
  •    Ability to develop strong business acumen with understanding of products and processes. 
  •    Demonstrate the ability to create and manage conversations at all business and technical levels of a client’s organization.
  •    Drive demand through focused telephone campaigns, email, e-blast, and other activities.
  •    Maintain up to date records in CRM software program including status of opportunities, business won and business lost. Sets tasks for easy follow up/through and enter data according to company standards.
  •    Perform all directly related duties in the assigned sales territory.
  •    Excellent written and verbal communication required to effectively correspond with clients, stakeholders and senior management.
  •    Strong executive presence.
  •    Attention to detail to include ability to provide monthly activity report outlining sales plans, key insight, goals and action planning to remain for assigned region
  •    Must attend department and company meetings that might occur outside the home office when required, including but not limited to, trade shows, National Sales and training meetings.
  •    Ability to collaborate well and formulate a strategic plan to meet sales goals wih outside sales team for the assigned region. 


Qualifications and Skills:

  •  Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of previous inside or sales experience
  •  Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •  Min. High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  •  Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Docs, CRM
