- The Distribution Clerk performs various administrative tasks within an organization
- Input shipping requisitions from distribution center operations daily
- Type Miscellaneous Shipping Orders, Bill of Ladings and custom papers for outbound shipments.
- Assist in problem solving & reconciling problems of shipping orders with the operations team, Including contacting vendors.
- Keep pace with the overall demands of job. Daily transactions can exceed available resources.
- Consult with supervisor in interpreting and developing improved methods and procedures for shipping transactions.
- Report all transaction errors and problems to the supervisor for resolution.
- Exhibit a high level of diplomacy, tact and service orientation to facilitate cooperation within and between departments in the distribution center and the manufacturing plants.
- Reconcile cycle misses with operations / cycle counter areas
- Verify all scanned orders and requisitions from representatives of distribution center or supervisor or other areas
- Other duties as assigned
- Understand the flow of product through the facility
- Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others, and work to maintain constructive professional relationships

Qualifications
High school diploma/GED preferred
1-3 years' experience
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling paperwork and data.
Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues and visitors.
Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills to manage office tasks efficiently.
Independent thought, good judgment, problem solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
A team player with solid interpersonal skills and initiative
Computer Literacy: Familiarity with basic computer software and tools.
