Seeking a trustworthy and organized HR Administrative Assistant to support the Human Resources team. This part-time position plays a key role in managing communication, organizing records, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the department. 

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, welcomes and directs employees to appropriate resources to meet their needs and expertly maintains discretion of sensitive information.

This is an in-office role that allows the choice of a 5 hour per day Monday-Friday schedule or 4 weekdays, 6 Hours per day, with option for Wednesday or Thursday off. No weekends. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains open office and provides a warm and professional welcome

  • Answer and direct incoming HR-related phone calls and emails.

  • Opens, scans, files and organizes physical mail.

  • Route questions and requests to the appropriate HR team members, expedites urgent needs.

  • Seeks to maximize efficiencies in daily processes

  • Creates SOPs and templates for basic operations of HR 

  • Maintain and organize personnel files, both digital and physical.

  • Schedule meetings and provide support using Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, etc.).

  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or HR support experience preferred

  • Works well with frequent interruptions

  • Communications clearly, timely and accurately

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Heart for service.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets)

  • Must maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
