About the Department
Position Duties
- Provide assistance with securing boats to the docks by catching and tying lines to the dock, and giving directions
- Assist in distributing arm bands for safety and security
- Work the lines boarding the water taxi after football games
- Observe the docks for safety hazards and insuring the vessels are secure while the customers are at the games
- Working with cash and making change.
Other Qualifications
This position works on an as-needed basis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of boats and docking procedures.
- Must be physically capable of walking, kneeling, bending, and have flexibility and balance.
- Must be able to swim.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
