Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world class supplier of power generation services, parts and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. 

We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working, dependable, process-oriented individual looking to join a strong team environment. A desire to work for a fast-paced, medium-sized corporate organization is a plus. In addition, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Essential Job Functions:

• Act  as a change agent by gathering and facilitating the maintenance of part costs, delivery promise dates, production job data, and other Epicor ERP data as necessary.
• Utilize and, when required, help develop the appropriate information systems to provide consistent, ongoing, and accurate information regarding purchasing, delivery, cost, and quality to assist management.
• Responsible for planning, monitoring, and maintaining material levels to ensure sales plans are achieved.
• Represent the Sourcing organization during inter-department meetings, reviews, and discussions.
• Create and issue purchase orders for parts, components, and supplies to support  sales requirements and stocking levels.
• Provide regular support and communication regarding material levels and delivery status.
• Work  closely with suppliers to ensure quality of component parts, and supplies are delivered on time, at the lowest total cost.
• Develop supplier relationships to enhance understanding of their capabilities, resolve issues, audit processes, and reinforce continuous improvement.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality/capacity issues. 
• Daily, compile, review, and upload order acknowledgments and cost data.
• Must be available to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed or required. 
• Very  minimal travel may be required.

Requirements

•  international shipping, receiving, and procurement/buying experience.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills using MS Excel are required. 
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Power Generation, Industrial, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, or other technical fields is strongly preferred. 
• Strong  follow-up and follow-through skills.
• APICS  or ISM certification desired.
• Experience with Epicor or other MRP/ERP systems required.
• Excellent  written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Self-directed  negotiation experience is desired. 
• A supply chain degree or equivalent experience is preferred
