We’re looking for an AI Engineer – Power User (SDLC Tools) to lead the adoption and strategic use of AI across our software development lifecycle. If you thrive at the intersection of software engineering and emerging AI tools — and you’re ready to lead by example — this role is for you.

Could you be the AI Engineer – Power User (SDLC Tools)  that we've been looking for?

What you’ll do:

You'll be part of a lean, high-impact AI Ops team, with a dual mission:

1. Evangelize the smart use of AI within one of our engineering divisions

• Inspire and guide squads to explore and embed AI in real workflows
• Run highly practical sessions, demos and peer-to-peer labs
• Build technical confidence and momentum around AI use
• Surface meaningful use cases and lead them from concept to deployment

2. Be the internal authority on AI tools for the SDLC

• Evaluate, master and deploy tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Poolside, Windsurf
• Design prompt libraries, use-case templates and integration flows
• Connect tools across the engineering ecosystem, from development environments to issue trackers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor tool performance and lead iterative improvements based on impact

What you bring:

• Experience driving change in engineering environments, including influencing adoption and overcoming resistance.
• Confidence to lead conversations with developers, product owners, and team leads
• Solid background in software engineering: you build, debug, and deliver
• Proven interest or experience with AI-assisted development
• A systems-thinking mindset and the ability to connect tools to needs
• Bonus if you have experience in DevEx, change management frameworks (e.g. ADKAR), automation, building internal dev tools, and using platforms like VSCode, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
