Note: This is a Developmental Assignment (DAIS) position of Investment Analyst IFC CSFDT in Mumbai office starting on September 1st, 2025 till June 30, 2026 and serves as an extension of the Global Analyst Program, which is sponsored and championed by the CHR. Only Term/Open Appointment Staffs are eligible to apply for this DAIS position.

Roles and Responsibilities

The candidate will be part of CSF's disruptive technologies and venture capital team, focused on South Asia VC activities across direct investments, co-investments and VC funds. The analyst will support both new business and portfolio supervision activities. India is one of our most active VC markets and where we have the highest level of deal activities and the largest portfolio. The Analyst will play a hands-on role in supporting all aspect of investment activities across the project cycle with lots of client facing opportunities.

Selection Criteria

•  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in domains like business, finance, or economics or pertinent industry areas. 
•  At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, financial consulting, etc. 
•  Ability to conduct market and industry research and analysis. 
•  Mastery of financial statement analysis and financial models. 
•  Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, thoughtful scenario analysis, and diligence in the quality of one’s own work. 
•  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. 
•  Genuine dedication to development and to the World Bank Group and IFC’s mission, strategy, and values.
