We are a rapidly growing center-based ABA therapy organization committed to providing exceptional care to children with autism and their families. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Family Outreach Coordinator to serve as the first contact for families and agencies inquiring about therapy and diagnostic services from Lighthouse. Responsible for supporting growth and sustainability of our centers by ensuring a consistent influx of potential learners leading to better resource planning and increased engagement with prospective families and expanding our network of referral partners and community relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains initial point of contact for all families inquiring about ABA services by answering calls, emails, website inquiries, and social media posts.
- Educates prospective patient’s families on services we provide, and documents required to enroll in services.
- Participate in the weekly Intake Meetings for covered region to report on learners moving through pipeline.
- Responsible for staying in contact with families from beginning to the end of enrollment process for ABA and DX service lines.
- Maintains detailed records of learner information as families move through service pipelines including uploading documents and notes on learner.
- Handles client conflicts in a respectful, professional manner by being reassuring, empathetic during challenging situations.
- Identify and establish relationships with new referral sources, including pediatricians, neurologists, primary care providers, schools, and other relevant professionals.
- Schedule and conduct meetings to present our services, build trust, and drive referrals to our centers.
- Coordinate and participate in community events and expos.
- Position includes occasional evening and weekend work related activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Business or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare outreach role, preferably in the autism services sector, sales, or business development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and build relationships.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
