Ready to make a real impact in the workplace? We’re seeking a dynamic professional to serve as the go-to expert for Leave Management and Medical Accommodations. In this role, you’ll administer leave programs (including FMLA and STD), manage ADA accommodation requests, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
This is a fast-paced, high-visibility position that demands strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

This is a remote position, but our ideal candidate will reside in the Chattanooga area or within 50-miles with the ability to attend on-site meetings.
Job Responsibilities
- Leave Management: Administering various leave programs, including FMLA, STD, and others, managing the full leave lifecycle from eligibility to return-to-work, and maintaining confidential records.
- ADA Accommodations: Facilitating ADA accommodation requests, engaging in the interactive process, evaluating requests, communicating with stakeholders, and reviewing medical documentation.
- Compliance and Administration: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies, working with internal teams and third-party administrators, managing administrative aspects of claims, and providing updates to leadership while maintaining privacy.
- Communication and Support: Serving as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and building relationships to foster an inclusive culture.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment
Experience
- 3 years - Experience in leave or disability management and/or employee benefits
- 1 year - Demonstrated experience in legal issues pertaining to disability and leave management, specifically knowledge of FMLA, ADA and state leave laws
SkillsCertifications
- In-depth understanding of leave regulations, including FMLA, and HR best practices related to the ADA.
- Experience with HRIS and leave management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and make fair decisions efficiently.
- Ability to use independent judgment and think critically in making decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (phone, email, and written).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
