Description du poste
La personne occupant ce poste sera appelée à collaborer avec ses collègues des SIT dans la définition des requis, l’orientation des évolutions technologiques, la planification et la priorisation des activités sujettes à impacter l’infrastructure TI et les systèmes s’y trouvant, le tout afin de contribuer à l’amélioration de la qualité et de la compétitivité de l’entreprise.
- Surveiller l’activité quotidienne sur les serveurs et réseaux afin de détecter les anomalies, prévenir les problèmes de fonctionnement et apporter les correctifs nécessaires;
- Gestion des serveurs, du stockage, des commutateurs et des pares-feux;
- Gestion de l’environnement virtualisé;
- Participation à la création et au maintien des plans de gouvernances réseaux
- Gérer promptement et efficacement les incidents et demandes de service de l’infrastructure et en exercer un suivi adéquat;
- Assister les techniciens du Centre de services TI dans la résolution de problèmes de niveau 3;
- Effectuer les routines de vérifications, tests et installation des mises à jour de sécurité;
- Contribuer à l’amélioration des processus de l’infrastructure et suggérer des actions préventives en fonction des besoins;
- Collaborer à l’implantation et au déploiement des projets technologiques et supporter l’intégration entre les systèmes;
- Tenir à jour la documentation réseau selon les standards en vigueur;
- Maintenir une bonne communication entre l’équipe TI et les clients;
- Maîtriser les processus, procédures et méthodes de travail en place;
- Développer une connaissance générale du domaine et des impacts sur d’autres secteurs.
Exigences
- Titulaire d’un diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en informatique (ou autre combinaison de formation et d’expérience pertinente);
- Cinq (5) années d’expérience en administration de réseaux et systèmes TI;
- Bonnes capacités de communication et de rédaction (bilinguisme Anglais/Français écrit et parlé);
- Être flexible pour travailler en dehors des heures normales de travail (au besoin);
- Être disponible pour des possibilités de déplacements pour interventions dans nos bureaux à travers le Canada (rare);
- Connaissance des meilleures pratiques et méthodologies ITIL (un atout).
CONNAISSANCES TECHNIQUES REQUISES :
- Maîtrise des outils de surveillance réseau et système (Exemple : PRTG);
- Gestion d’un centre de recouvrement de désastre (DR);
- Protocoles et architectures réseaux (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, Site-To-Site VPN);
- Cisco IOS Catalyst, Meraki, UCS, Nexus, UNIFI Ubiquiti;
- Gestion de serveurs et stockage (SAN, NAS, serveurs UCS et fabric interconnect);
- Checkpoint;
- Windows serveur, 2012 R2 à 2019;
- Administration d’un domaine avec Active Directory;
- DHCP, DNS, TCP-IP, HTTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS, IIS, WSUS, NPS;
- VMware et ESXi;
- VEEAM et solution de sauvegardes;
- Environnements de cybersécurité (Exemples : Crowdstrike, TendMicro, SentinelOne, Barracuda);
- SQL (un atout);
- Citrix (XenDesktop, PVS) (un atout);
- Gestion environnement O365 (un atout);
- Connaissances accrues des certificats et CA (un atout).

IT Systems and Network Administrator - Hybrid
CTG is seeking an IT and Network Administrator to work hybrid in Quebec City on a long term contract that could be a contract to hire.
Duration: 6 months to 1 year (Contract) – Could extend or be contract to hire
Location: Quebec City - Hybrid
This work supports government departments, so appropriate work authorization is required.
Job Overview
The person in this role will collaborate with IT Services colleagues in defining requirements, guiding technological advancements, planning and prioritizing activities that impact the IT infrastructure and systems, all with the goal of improving the company’s quality and competitiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily activity on servers and networks to detect anomalies, prevent operational issues, and apply necessary fixes.
- Manage servers, storage, switches, and firewalls.
- Administer the virtualized environment.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of network governance plans.
- Promptly and effectively handle infrastructure incidents and service requests, ensuring proper follow-up.
- Assist IT Service Center technicians with Level 3 issue resolution.
- Perform routine checks, testing, and installation of security updates.
- Contribute to infrastructure process improvements and suggest preventive actions based on needs.
- Collaborate on the implementation and deployment of technology projects and support system integration.
- Keep network documentation up to date according to current standards.
- Maintain good communication between the IT team and clients.
- Master existing processes, procedures, and work methods.
- Develop a general understanding of the domain and its impact on other departments.
Requirements:
- College diploma (DEC) in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in network and IT systems administration.
- Strong communication and writing skills (bilingual in English and French, spoken and written).
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed.
- Availability for occasional travel to company offices across Canada (rare).
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and methodologies (an asset).
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with network and system monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG).
- Disaster recovery center management.
- Network protocols and architectures (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, Site-to-Site VPN).
