We are looking for a hands-on, resourceful, self-starter to develop and implement a plan to expand institutional engagement and acceptance of the Duolingo English Test in Latin America.

You Will…

• Develop and implement an institutional engagement strategy to increase DET recognition across Latin America, with an initial focus on Mexico.
  
• Build and manage a contact pipeline in Salesforce, including key opportunities, institutions, and sector stakeholders.
  
• Conduct outreach, lead meetings and product presentations with universities, admissions officers, and regulators. Represent Duolingo at relevant education events as needed.
  
• Monitor progress and market dynamics, including adoption of the Duolingo English Test, competitor activity, and regional policy developments.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to create advocacy materials and inform product strategy.
  
• Prepare internal briefings on progress towards goals, English testing trends, and competitive shifts in the region.

You Have…

• Bachelor’s degree.
  
• 5+ years of experience working in Latin America’s higher education, admissions, or international recruitment space.
  
• Strong understanding of English proficiency testing and regional admissions practices.
  
• Established network within Latin American higher education institutions and regulatory bodies.
  
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including comfort with public speaking.
  
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects.
  
• A proactive, independent work style.
  
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico and willingness to travel as required within the region. 

Exceptional Candidates Will Have...  

• Existing relationships with higher education leaders or education authorities in the region.
  
• Have experience advocating for digital learning tools, EdTech products, or standardized assessments.
  
• Can conduct regulatory analysis and present concise market briefings.
  
• Are passionate about expanding access to education through technology.
