Introduction I’m the Engineering Manager of one of our 4 core software engineering teams here at CoachHub. Here, my role is making sure you and the rest of the team have all the necessary conditions to thrive and are able to continue growing as an engineer while seamlessly producing great code.Our team is remote first and distributed across Europe. We are looking to expand it with a Senior Backend Engineer who is agile while keeping a focus on quality, and enjoys working in a remote environment with the possibility of mentoring more junior peers.In our mission of democratizing coaching, we are currently focused on making sure the experience for both coaches and coachees navigating through our new coaching programs is as smooth as possible.CoachHub is a diverse company with a remote-first and flexible culture. In our team, we use Scrum and try to combine synchronous and asynchronous ways of working to ensure a dynamic collaboration while making sure everybody feels represented on their ways of working.   • Plan and develop exciting new features for our users
  • Take part in the architectural design of our platform
  • Maintain and improve our code base
  • Author and review PRs using GitHub
  • Improve our ways of working by attending retrospectives and propose improvements

  • You are proficient with Typescript and the Node.js ecosystem and are experienced building professional backend web applications
  • You are familiar with (Micro-) Service architectures and/or event-based systems
  • You have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and patterns, with the ability to apply them in your work
  • Ideally, you are familiar with Domain Driven Design Principles
