About the Team Lead - ExxonMobil:
MarketStar is seeking a Team Lead in our Ogden, UT office. The Team Lead will report to the Sales Manager over the assigned Portfolio. As an integral part of our team, the Team Lead is a key position as the subject matter expert and leader within each customer portfolio.
Location: Ogden, UT - Hybrid
What will you do?
Act as a subject matter expert in the processes and product in the National Accounts customer portfolio
Support Account Managers in creating, progressing and closing pipeline to drive a monthly and quarterly sales quota
Drive targeted product campaigns across key customers with priority for retention and growth
Develop and augment SOPs, training plans and team resources to drive success
Provide team support associated with customer challenges, processes, and issues
Assist with new hire onboarding and training as a mentor, streamlining path to productivity
Provide communication and insights to the Sales Manager and Program Manager regarding activities and trends across the portfolio
Identify and make recommendations for process development, improvement, and application in partnership with the Operation Manager
Own a downline of Account Managers and SDRs including coaching, training, and improving sales performance
Leverage independence in your workday to prioritize tasks, projects, and initiatives
Work with stakeholders across customers and internal teams to assign product allocation, prioritize shipments, and create solution for all involved parties
What will you need to succeed?
Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and other sales tools
Previous experience in Account Management in the Lubricants and Oils industry
Constantly strives to improve, proactively seeking coaching and guidance from peers and managers
The desire and ability to learn on the fly, think creatively, and maintain urgency
Ability to read and apply reporting to daily decisions (forecasting, opportunities, sales revenue, etc.)
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with a variety of personalities and customers
Team player / collaborative operating style
An innovative mind always willing and able to contribute creative solutions to problems as they arise
Proven record of performance in previous roles required
Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
Constantly strives to improve, proactively seeking and providing coaching and guidance from peers and managers
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain urgency

The salary range for this position is between $60,000.00 and $65,000.00 and may be paid annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $5,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
