We’re looking for a Director to join our Dental Networks team. In this role, you'll Identify, implement, and develop strategic initiatives to obtain the appropriate financial, service, and growth goals to increase profit, network size, and viability of the network. You'll also provide leadership and direction to the Dental PPO network area, including subsidiaries and provide direct dental network strategies to meet SBU growth and profitability goals.
- Identify, direct, and implement strategic business initiatives to achieve network growth, profitability (effective discounts), and service goals. Oversee and manage the network operational plan, make recommendations for best practices, and perform evaluations of network performance.
- Actively participate in researching, recommending, assessing, negotiating and developing cost-effective network options and provider relationships including both leasing other networks to augment our own and leasing our network to other companies. Manage provider and leasing relationships after implementation.
- Serve as Director over owned dental subsidiaries as directed. Provide leadership to owned dental subsidiaries in areas such as strategic planning, financial management, and operations.
- Lead and direct team, including hiring, training, career development, budgeting and financial management. Select, develop, mentor and motivate staff in the most effective manner possible. Provide compensation administration, rewards and recognition, performance management, coaching, and mentoring. Oversee team projects and communication.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Who You Are:- Strong knowledge of financial services and insurance industry required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, plus 10 - 15 years of related work experience
- Company and business unit product knowledge preferred
- Strong management/leadership, project management, strategic thinking, decision-making, and planning skills required
- Work independently with excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus and understanding of marketing needed
- Travel requirement less than 10%
Work Environments
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
