We are conducting a search for a high-impact team member to help scale a dynamic and fast-growing business operating at the intersection of AI, content, and search visibility. Our team is pioneering a new approach to organic customer acquisition and reputation shaping, an emerging discipline referred to as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
We work with leading brands across industries to optimize how they are represented and discovered in AI-powered platforms, search engines, and online conversations and to help our clients be the answer everywhere. We're looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Generative AI Lead with experience in this space and/or relevant adjacencies (SEO, Content Strategy, Affiliate Marketing) to drive the thinking, delivery, and evolution of our core offering. We seek someone obsessed with where SEO, content, and AI are going next.
THE ROLE
In this role, you will partner closely with the Founder/GM to define what excellence looks like in our approach to generative search, LLM-indexed content, organic visibility, and reputation management, and then bring that to life through structured programs with support from broader team members. You will also play a supporting role in shaping our external voice as a contributor to thought leadership, content, and possibly public-facing moments. This is both a strategic and hands-on role that is perfect for someone with depth in SEO, content strategy, or search innovation who’s ready to help build the playbook for a new era.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine frameworks for success in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), including content strategy and development, authority mapping, and AI search visibility
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure client work aligns with evolving strategic principles
Lead internal knowledge-building: train, support, and mentor contributors working across GEO / AEO programs in tandem with the Founder/GM.
Stay deeply informed about industry trends and how platforms like Google, Reddit, ChatGPT, and Perplexity index and surface content, and how to influence those systems effectively
Identify gaps in current approaches and build solutions that scale, including tools, templates, or strategic guidelines
Over time, support the Founder/GM in thought leadership, event participation, and market presence. This could include activities like authoring articles, participating in or leading webinars, etc.
Track and synthesize changes in platform behavior (SERPs, LLMs, ranking signals, etc.) to inform both client strategy and market messaging
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years experience, ideally with some time spent in the Generative AI space coupled with relevant adjacencies (SEO, digital visibility, content, Affiliate Marketing), with a hunger to push beyond traditional tactics.
Strong understanding of the evolving AI/search ecosystem: how LLMs retrieve and prioritize content, the decline of organic links in SERPs, etc.
Ability to build frameworks, tools, and structured programs that enable delivery teams to succeed
Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to codify strategy clearly and compellingly
Comfort operating in a high-growth, ambiguous, and fast-moving environment
A passion for shaping new categories and leading where the market is headed
