The Opportunity:
You know that project managers touch every single part of a business and wear multiple hats: from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in business development and being a key contributor to their employees’ growth. We’re looking for someone like you to help our Army client employ a hybrid solution for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS-A) program using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Agile development and advance their mission by applying your project manager skills supporting an HR acquisition program and important component of the Army’s modernization strategy. You will lead the Functional Management Division (FMD) Support Contract team in providing best business practices and solutions to the IPPS-A program.
In this role, you’ll provide client-site program management, execution, and staff oversight consisting of functional and technical SMEs working closely with clients in transforming the Army’s personnel systems into a fully integrated HR and Payroll system. You will oversee all contractual responsibilities and deliverables and ensure an efficient, effective, and economical level of contract support is provided to the FMD clients. You’ll manage contract costs, fill vacancies with the most qualified personnel, and manage overall contract performance, including providing subcontract management and overseeing invoicing, contract proposals, and modifications. You’ll fully understand the requirements and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to guide the Agile development of a project roadmap and establish project milestones while bringing people together to make a tangible difference.
