Salary Range: $50972 - $117545 Per Year
Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:
- You will perform a wide range of engineering and technical reviews, analyses, and studies.
- You will anticipate and address problems and issues that arise during the acquisition and sustainment of assigned Navy weapon and hull, mechanical, and electronic systems, equipment, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and parts.
- You will provide technical leadership and serve as a technical project manager as well as subject matter expert (SME).
- You will conduct parts research in support of the procurement of spare and repair parts.
- You will validate proposed replacement parts.
- You will participate in receipt inspection activity and certification audits.
- You will review Technical Data Packages (TDPs) for completeness, correctness, and/or changes.
- You will resolve reliability and maintenance issues throughout the life cycle of a system through Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must be as a professional engineer performing the duties of a Materials Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Electronics Engineer.
