Job Summary: You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the SYSTEM SECURITY ENGINEERING DIVISION within the TEST AND EVALUATION DEPT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Major Duties:
- You will be responsible for the NAVY Risk Management Framework (RMF) Roles and Responsibilities in a working capital fund organization.
- You will serve as Information System security Manager (ISSM), Information System Security Officer (ISSO), or a cyber lead (CL).
- You will be responsible for assisting with the planning of the program cybersecurity duties and any delegation activities to the team as it relates to execution for the calendar year.
- You will provide expert advice on the implementation of supporting technologies, including interpretation and review of proposals, plans, and specifications for applicable projects and programs.
- You will mentor junior level employees on RMF processes and analyzing cybersecurity risk.
- You will be responsible for updating and maintaining eMASS records for packages assigned.
- You will perform ACAS scans or validate scans provided by other roles when necessary.
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing and implementing strategies for testing and evaluating cyber security information technology systems to ensure requirement compliance. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
