OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a Vice President to join our growing Hotels & Hospitality in Greater China platform with a primary focus on Advisory and Asset Management services. The role will be based in GBA and will report into the Managing Director, Head for Hotels & Hospitality in Greater China.
We are looking for this VP who is passionate, highly motivated about adding value and delivering superior results to the team. As a member of JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality team, this VP will actively drive business development to source new engagement, manage project delivery teams, prepare proposals and pitches, deliver consulting assignments, lead asset management engagements, and implement operator selection assignments and related business mainly in GBA and nearby provinces.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and expand HHG business in GBA and nearby provinces in China.
- Lead client consulting assignments for hospitality developments, investments, and assets with minimal oversight from senior leadership.
- Develop and implement a business development plan for the Advisory & Asset Management services offered in Greater China.
- Manage timelines and communications for client presentations, deliverables, and assignments in both Chinese and English.
- Prepare Advisory and Research reports, including Market Research, Feasibility Studies, Strategic & Operational Reviews, Operator Selection and Enterprise Consulting.
- Present the outcomes of our assignments and reports to clients and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate transaction and advisory due diligence processes including the review and analysis of various documents and financial statements.
- Interpret investment market trends and insights to advise hotel owners and developers on best development and / or divestment strategies.
- Conduct financial modelling, focusing on hotel cash flow projections; cost estimation; DCF / IRR analysis; debt leverage analysis; and sales comparable analysis.
- As per of the Asset Management team, assess hotel operational cash flow projections and identify area for improvement and potential value add enhancement.
- Communicate with and coordinate work of third-party vendors in connection with preparation of investment materials and presentations.
- Collaboratively strongly with peers across JLL including: Hotels Asia Pacific, Valuation Advisory, Strategic Advisory, Work Dynamics / Project Development Services, Capital Markets and other service lines.
