Description

Legacy Electric LLC is seeking a top-performing sales professional to join our team!! Candidate will search out new client accounts and maximize profitability. 

Sales Rep will work with potential prospects through the entire sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution, including developing new leads, educating prospects, and turning interested prospects into long-term clients.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills and ability to build strong relationships

· Excellent time-management skills

· Must be comfortable speaking to people

· Must be motivated, personable, and outgoing

· Reliable transportation required

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

· Must have either an Android or iPhone smartphone

Preferred Additional Skills or Experience:

· Two or more years of Outside Sales experience

· History of meeting or exceeding Sales Quotas and Performance Goals

· Experience in the electrical trade industry

Responsibilities:
· Travel as needed to businesses and make new relationships that result in new revenue for the company.
· Manage multiple accounts simultaneously
· Maintain records of all sales leads
· Represent Legacy Electric during all client and prospect interactions
· Educate customers on how our services can benefit them

Salary:

Legacy Electric: Sales Compensation Plan

This plan outlines how our sales team is paid and their key responsibilities.

1. Base Salary

Sales team members receive a consistent base salary to provide stable income, especially when starting out. This also helps attract experienced sales professionals and covers non-sales tasks.

  • Full-time      Sales Professional: $38,000 - $48,000 per year D.O.E.

  

2. Commission Structure

Commissions are based on the gross profit of new projects, not just total sales. This means you're rewarded for bringing in profitable work.

  • What's      a "New Client"? Someone who hasn't      used Legacy's services in the last 24 months.
  • What's      "Gross Profit"? The project's total      revenue minus direct costs (labor, materials, subcontractors).
  • Commission      Rates: 
    • First       project with a new client: 8% of gross profit.
    • Subsequent       projects with that client: 4% of gross profit.
  • Client      Becomes a "House Account": After 15      months, a client becomes a "house account," and commissions on      their projects stop. 
  • Payment:      Commissions are paid only after Legacy Electric receives full payment from      the client. If a client doesn't pay, no commission is earned on that      project.

  

3. Performance & Bonuses

We set targets to encourage client acquisition.

  • Client      Acquisition Targets: Aim for 3 new paying clients per      month.
  • Bonus:      $500 per quarter if you hit your client acquisition target, plus an      additional bonus for exceeding the target.

  

4. Sales Responsibilities & Transparency

Sales team members are expected to be transparent, communicative, and proactive.

  • Weekly      Reporting: Submit spreadsheets detailing calls,      leads, meetings, and prospecting activities.
  • Meetings      & Events: Attend all required meetings,      conference calls, and sales events (like expos).
  • Client      Communication: Maintain open communication with new      clients and handle minor issues professionally.
  • Non-Compete:      You'll sign a non-compete agreement; clients belong to Legacy Electric      even if you leave.
  • Professional      Appearance: Sales team will have a professional,      clean appearance and professional attitude/mannerisms and language while      at work and when dealing with potential clients
  • Work      Hours: 
    • Full-time       Sales: Minimum 40 hours per week, with       activity logs.
  • Client      Check-ins: Regularly contact clients to address      their needs, questions, or concerns.
  • Pricing:      All pricing and discounts must be discussed and approved by the Legacy      Board to ensure profitability.
  • Client      Relationships: Legacy Electric can terminate any      client relationship at any time for any reason they deem necessary.
  • CRM      System: Learn and use Legacy's CRM (Service      Fusion) for tracking clients and pulling reports.
  • Training:      Shadow project managers, billing staff, and technicians to understand      operations. Complete any required training or quizzes.
  • Collections      Support: Assist the billing team if collections      are needed for clients you've brought in.

This is really a ‘boots on the ground role’ and candidate must have a proven track record!
