This position is located at our Yadkinville, NC Facility:
1st Shift- 12 hrs. (6:30am-6:30pm) M-TH (with occasional overtime)
Responsibilities:
- Verify item numbers on materials being brought to line.
- Read and track production schedules.
- Complete line production and quality paperwork & audits.
- Identify over usage of materials and assist in the reduction of waste ingredient materials.
- Demonstrate setup and operational knowledge of all line-related equipment.
- Ensure line run line equipment settings and run rates are being followed.
- Promote safe work behaviors in other employees and act as a safety team leader.
- Provide assistance and direction to line employees to maximize labor utilization.
- Assist the Supervisor with the staffing and training needs of crew members.
- Support Supervisor with the execution of their job duties.
- Communicate with the Supervisor and other Line Leads during shift operations and shift changeovers.
- Notify the Supervisor of all time efficiencies & case counts for the shift.
- Adhere to all Safety & GMP Procedures.
- Perform additional functions as assigned.
Experience, Skills, Education:
- Experience within a Leadership/Supervisor Role is Required.
- Food/Baking Experience Preferred.
- Effective Communication Skills.
- Demonstrated Organizational Skills.
- Good Math Skills.
- Reading/Comprehension Abilities.
- Demonstrated Leadership Capabilities.
- Ability to Work In a Group Setting or Individually.
- Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly.
