Job Summary
Acts as key internal resource for development of operations analyses and projects. to improve efficiency and budgets.
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual summary and detail reports of operational performance, revenue, recovery, and expense information.
- Provides information monthly and as needed to chair/director.
- Provides leadership for implementation and ongoing support of inventory systems.
- Ensures the master file is current, and supply expenses are aligned with case volume and revenue.
- Manages financial and operational integration of new facilities, and development of new business lines within existing facilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration or other related field.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years progressively responsible experience in healthcare finance or project management, with significant experience in budgeting, financial analysis, reporting with multi-disciplinary organizational and operational structure and large hospital/physician provider organization and healthcare consulting.
- Offset: Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- In some locations, ability to move up to 15 pounds
