This role follows an onsite model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the online sample analysis request program, log incoming samples, and match them to analysis requests.
- Analyze samples using Neogen’s food allergen and natural toxin test kits, following kit instructions and specific customer or sales requests.
- Generate and analyze data from various laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation.
- Calibrate analytical instruments and ensure all lab equipment is ISO-compliant.
- Perform tasks essential to maintaining ISO Certification.
- Participate in sample proficiency programs such as FGIS/GIPSA, FAPAS, and AOCS.
- Conduct minor repairs on laboratory equipment.
- Assist the Reference Material Department with sample preparation, testing, and weighing of reference materials.
- Tabulate and graph data, preparing technical reports for senior personnel.
- Participate in kit validations for agencies, including FGIS/GIPSA, AOAC, and others.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
- Minimum Associate’s degree in a science-related field OR
- High School diploma with some college science coursework and 1 year of relevant Lab Technician experience.
