MID-LEVEL BUSINESS ANALYSTINCATech is looking for a Mid-Level Business Analyst with experience in web content support for a project with the Department of State. This person will be a liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams to adjust content, document requirements and resolve user issues. They will also work to collect, capture, and manage mission user needs from prioritization through concept development and user story writing to support development and deployment. This person will also facilitate the gathering of business-focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the user's perspective is considered.This role is open to remote work with preference being given to those located in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.REPSONSIBILITIES:

• Work to collect, capture, and manage mission user needs from prioritization through concept development and user story writing to support development and deployment as a business analyst.
• Facilitate the gathering of business-focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the user's perspective is considered.
• Work with the product owner and users to determine the operational objectives of business needs and elicit requirements.
• Provide complete documentation of requirements, user stories, processes, and procedures.
• Make website content changes, fixes, and edits to HTML (i.e., broken link corrections).
• Utilize HTML and CSS knowledge and experience to align with Agency guidelines and ensure proper web standards.
• Create, edit, proofread, and update Web pages using a template-based solution.
• Enrich user experience through tailoring of content across the Agency's websites.
• Review and analyze stakeholder feedback; support senior staff to create specifications for development.
• Adjust website content in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support leaders with content recommendations as part of a website redesign team.
• Generate reports from user input and website forms using MS office tools.

REQUIREMENTS:QualificationsRelated Experience:

• MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
• 3-6 years of experience in a business analyst or requirements analyst role
• Experience using requirements management tools
• Knowledge of the Agile software lifecycle.
• Attention to detail when writing features and user stories.
• Bachelor’s College degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience correcting broken links promptly, with comprehensive follow-up.
• Stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience w/ Customer Support/ training skills.

PREFERRED:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience w/ HTML and web analytics.
• Experience assisting in the creation of new website content areas.
• Confirm published content complies with best practices, including SEO, accessibility, naming conventions, brand guidelines, tagging, and testing for quality assurance.
• Understanding of content strategy and content management systems (CMS), especially Adobe Experience Manager.
• Knowledge of web standards and semantic HTML.
• Familiarity with User Experience (UX).
• Experience using requirements management tools (primarily IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management).
• Experience using Microsoft Suite of products (MS SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
