OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable structural designs across a range of projects. They will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging assignments, collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of structural design concepts and solutions for various projects.
  • Interpret and apply Eurocodes to ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive drawing packages and technical specifications for construction.
  • Manage the design process, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Lead and contribute to the preparation of reports, calculations, and presentations.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, offering guidance and technical expertise.
Qualifications
  • Degree in structural engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for 7 years or more.
  • Strong proficiency in Eurocodes and other relevant design codes and standards.
  • Proven experience in leading and delivering structural designs throughout RIBA stages of work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Day-to-day
  • Collaborate with architects and other professionals to develop creative and efficient structural solutions.
  • Use your expertise to review and refine design concepts, ensuring constructability and sustainability.
  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Apply your knowledge of Eurocodes and design standards to achieve compliant and high-quality structural designs.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development, staying updated with industry advancements and best practices.
