Working with The Community Connections Manager and key English Heritage staff to facilitate the delivery of the programme, engaging with established and new community groups, partners and volunteers, encouraging active participation with our identified free to enter heritage sites and their landscapes through the delivery of this pilot community grants programme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.What's more, as part of our charity bringing history to life, you'll be supported and encouraged to share your ideas, inspire others and make a difference to the way England's rich past is experienced.As our Community Connections Facilitator you will be responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating an inspiring and impactful community grants programme, in line with the National Heritage Lottery Fund Activity Plan's agreed priorities, objectives and targets, and support the Community Connections Manager in the successful delivery of the programme.We'll need you to build relationships with diverse communities, by brokering new relationships with stakeholders, local groups and residents; to encourage understanding and participation and an active uptake in the programme grants and encourage longer term relationshipsTo be considered in this role, you will need:- Experience of working with partners and community stakeholders- Experience of facilitating events to reach new audiences- Experience of facilitating activities with volunteers, contractors and freelancers- Excellent communication skills (written & oral), clarity & fluency.- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage own workloadFind out more about us and what we do here, https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/about -us/ here.
