The OpportunityAvantor is looking for an experienced and data-driven Data Analyst, to join our team based in Limerick, Ireland. In this position you’ll be the single point of contact for Inventory Management consumption and Laboratory & Production services analytics.This role will be a full-time permanent position, offered on a remote basis, however if you're based in Dublin, you're welcomed to come to our local office. Next to an attractive salary, we offer bonus and multiple benefits such as pension scheme, private medical and dental care, and additional day off for your birthday.Working hours: Monday to Friday, core hoursThe TeamYou’ll belong to our business department Laboratory and Product Services, which supports big pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.What We’re Looking For

  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Analytics/IT/Statistics or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within an operational or production setting, with experience in VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) systems
  • Proficient in data analysis, with demonstrated experience in managing and analysing large datasets. This includes skills in SQL, Power BI, and Python for data manipulation and analysis, as well as Tableau for dashboard creation
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel for data tracking and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and process optimization
  • Ability to develop forecasting models and predictive analytics,
How You Will Thrive And Create An Impact
  • Effectively manages all IM (Inventory Management) administration support on site for IM and laboratory tasks, including stockrooms loads, adjusts and loads new part, new service tasks requirements for MSD on IM etc.
  • Load SPI form changes/deletions through Avantor Spi flow process and works with local procurement team and customer area SPOC’s to ensure accurate usage is monitored and aligning to allocated MSD forecasts
  • Validates all information on IM and connects with Avantor metrics system in conjunction with demand planning team and global metric team
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on the reporting tools and global inventory metrics delivered onsite and to internal Avantor demand planning team and MSD end users
  • Capture metrics data, that measures existing processes with the aim of presenting this information to MSD monthly and facilitating improvements in existing processes
