Job DescriptionJob Overview:The Retail Sales Representative at Chai Vision will be instrumental in driving sales growthand maintaining strong relationships with retail partners. The individual will manage bothnew and existing accounts, working to enhance product visibility and increase salesacross multiple retail channels. The role requires proactive sales development, effectiveaccount management, and strategic execution, including travel to key retail locationsand industry events.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly Sales Targets: Achieve or surpass monthly sales targets set for both
new and existing accounts.
  • Account Retention Rate: Maintain a high percentage of account retention,
aiming for 90%+ of yearly retention of existing retail partners.
  • New Account Acquisition: Successfully onboard 1-3 new retail accounts per
quarter.
  • Sales Growth: Increase sales revenue by 15% year-over-year within assigned
accounts
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Conduct quarterly business reviews with top 50% of
accounts to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Travel Effectiveness: Maximize the ROI of travel activities, ensuring that 80% of
travel results in actionable sales opportunities.
  • Conversion Rate: Convert at least 60% of qualified leads into active retail accounts.
  • Sales Forecast Accuracy: Maintain an 85% accuracy rate in sales forecasting to
align inventory and production with demand.
  • Expense Management: Keep travel and promotional expenses within 95% of
the allocated budget.
  • Time to Resolution: Resolve account issues within 48 hours for 90% of cases.
Primary Activities:
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners,
addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
  • Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow
Chai Vision's presence in the retail market.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute sales strategies, including
product placement and in-store promotions.Regular Work Activities:
  • Conduct regular visits to retail accounts to maintain relationships and oversee
product placement.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to align sales promotions with
broader company campaigns.
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to retail buying teams.
  • Address and resolve any account issues promptly, ensuring customer
satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Plan and manage travel schedules to maximize efficiency and sales impact.
  • Facilitate product training sessions for retail staff to increase product knowledge
and sales capability.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts to assess performance
and set future goals.
  • Report on sales performance and customer feedback during team meetings.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product
delivery to retail partners.
  • Implement and monitor promotional activities in retail locations.
  • Prepare expense reports and ensure adherence to the travel budget.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to network and identify new sales
opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer and
retailer input.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the fitness or wellness sector.
  • Proven track record of managing both new and existing accounts with a focus on
achieving sales goals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required (approximately 25%).
