Summary

Workforce Group (WFG) is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry / Reporting Specialist to support our disaster recovery operations through data-driven insights and performance reporting. The Data Entry Specialist role supports disaster recovery teams by ensuring accurate and timely data entry for project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This work will be completed at various designated locations working with team members and stakeholders or remotely based upon client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate data entry and update of information for disaster recovery efforts to include damage assessments, financial information, and other related data.
  • Maintaining data integrity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data entries. Perform regular audits and cross-checks to prevent errors.
  • Provide data retrieval and reporting as needed to assist in generating reports based on the entered data for internal stakeholders, clients, and government agencies.
  • Organize and maintain digital records and files, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and security standards.
  • Ensure all data entered adheres to FEMA or other regulatory guidelines and requirements.
  • Review incoming data for errors and discrepancies and resolve issues by communicating with the relevant team members.
  • Prioritize data entry tasks to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Complete all required compliance training on an annual basis.
  • Identify opportunities for improving data workflows, reporting processes, and data accuracy.
  • Recommend automation solutions for manual reporting tasks where applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in data entry, analysis, or reporting roles. Experience with FEMA disaster recovery, emergency management, or project-based reporting is a plus.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Strong typing speed (minimum of 50 words per minute) and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with FEMA reporting standards or other government reporting protocols is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

  • This is a remote role. Candidates must have access to a reliable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace.
  • May occasionally require virtual meetings with team members and clients across different time zones.
