Remote Engineering Manager - Data Platform

Mandatory

• 10+ years of Data engineering experience
• 2+ years of managing a team of 8+ ppl
• 2+ years of stakeholder management.
• 4+ years in data solutions in any cloud platform like GCP, AWS, Azure
• Expertise in any of the cloud platforms. AWS preferred/Azure/GCP
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks or Spark or big query or synapse analytics
• Hands on with real time streaming data - Kafka/kinesis/event hubs
• Good with performance optimization of data pipelines
• Good with SQL (4/5) and hands on Python skills (3/5)
• Need to have data visualization & BI tools experience - MicroStrategy/Power BI/Tableau
• Should be able to assess security posture of data platform & pipelines including PII data

• Experience in Data governance
• Should be good with Cost optimization & control
• Data quality framework implementation experience
• CI/CD with terraform, GitHub actions/Jenkins
• Experience with Airflow/other orchestration tools
• Good understanding of monitoring & alerting framework of data pipelines
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning platforms
