Remote Full Stack Developer

We are a startup focused on building an innovative legal assistance platform designed to help individuals navigate through their legal issues with ease. Our platform offers a personalized experience, providing users with customized templates and legal documents based on their specific needs. We believe in leveraging technology to empower people and make legal services more accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain both the frontend and backend of the platform.
• Build a responsive and intuitive user interface using React.js.
• Develop and manage backend services, including user authentication, data processing, and API integration using Node.js and MySQL (RDS).
• Implement serverless architecture on AWS Lambda and manage file storage using AWS S3.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for efficient deployment and updates.
• Collaborate with the founder in regular virtual meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and share updates.
• Proactively research solutions and seek help through resources like Google or ChatGPT when needed.
• Should be able to design the UI/UX of the platform.

Technical Requirements:

• Backend: Strong experience with Node.js and MySQL (preferably AWS RDS).
• Frontend: Proficiency with React.js and responsive web design principles.
• ORM: Experience with Sequelize or a similar ORM.
• Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of AWS Lambda for serverless architecture and AWS S3 for storage.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• DNS/Hosting: Experience with GoDaddy or similar services for CDN mapping.

• Proven experience or academic projects involving full-stack development.
• A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and proactively solving problems.
• Ability to research and implement solutions using online resources such as Google and ChatGPT.
• Strong communication skills and ability to attend regular virtual meetings.
