At Syntax, we're looking for a full-time, passionate, and driven **Software Engineer** with 2-3 years of software development experience and at least 1 year of GenAI experience to join our growing GenAI development team. We're building innovative GenAI-based solutions, and we need a strong engineer to help create custom knowledge bases for unique business applications. Responsibilities: - Develop custom knowledge bases using our GenAI platform tailored to unique business needs. - Work independently to design and implement knowledge bases and related solutions. - Leverage analytics and machine learning to enhance and optimize knowledge base performance. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define requirements and develop features. - Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the knowledge bases. - Thoroughly test and validate solutions prior to deployment. - Participate in code reviews. - Integrate knowledge bases with internal and external APIs. - Communicate needs and roadblocks promptly and clearly. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 2-3 years of professional development experience in software engineering, with a focus on **Python** and **JavaScript/Node.js**. - At least 1 year of experience in **GenAI** technologies. - A background in **analytics**, **machine learning**, and **GenAI**. - Experience with GenAI frameworks such as **Langchain**, **llamaindex**, **CrewAI**, etc. - Proven experience building and managing enterprise software platforms. - A strong knowledge of **design patterns** and **software architecture principles**. - Strong understanding of **cloud infrastructures** like **AWS**, **Azure**, or **GCP**. - Experience using **Git** for source control, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts. - Experience working with **GitLab** for issue tracking and reporting progress on assigned tasks. - Experience using **GitLab CI** for process automation, including linting, testing, analyzing, reviewing, building, and deploying code. Plus: - Knowledge of various **machine learning frameworks** and libraries. - Familiarity with building and maintaining **APIs**. - Experience with **containerization technologies** like **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
