Overview

You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events (When the position does not require travel to home office/client site). Overview:
At Editage Digital Media Solutions, we are on the lookout for a UI and Creative Designer who will be involved in creating impactful promotional collateral such as mailers, web banners, etc. for brands that are making a difference in the research and innovation ecosystem, including the Editage and Cactus brands and also converting research-based results and inferences into engaging and accessible multimedia digital formats such as infographics, webpage designs, video storyboards, banners, posters, standees, flyers, brochures, and more.

Responsibilities
- Develop visually compelling designs for multimedia collateral, aligning with specific client briefs and guidelines to effectively communicate brand vision.
- Create innovative design solutions that cater to diverse stakeholders in the research and innovation ecosystem.
- Conduct thorough research to understand content requirements and design trends within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and HSS (Humanities and Social Sciences) domains.
- Stay updated with current design approaches and best practices across social and digital media.
- Ensure high-quality designs by meticulously reviewing work and making necessary adjustments to meet design standards.
- Maintain consistency in branding and visual elements across all deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while working autonomously.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify project requirements, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Approach design projects with a strong customer focus, considering the end-user experience in all deliverables.
- Embrace opportunities for professional growth by upskilling and exploring new design techniques and tools.
- Experiment with new design trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas and creativity to projects.
- Bachelor’s and above in designing, fine arts, or visual communication; or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop; Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is an added advantage.
- Portfolio of work in website design, social media creatives, video visualization, scientific visualization, etc.
