As we continue to grow we’re now seeking a talented individual to join us as an Account Executive.


This role will focus on generating new business within the SAAS (Software as a Service) sector. As a mid-level member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.



Key Responsibilities:


  • New Business Development: Identify and prospect potential clients within the SAAS software market. Utilize various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals to generate leads.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand the unique business challenges and goals of prospective clients. Offer tailored solutions and demonstrate how Aptean's software products can address their needs and drive value.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from initial contact to deal closure. Keep accurate records of interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Present proposals and negotiate terms to secure new contracts. Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the software industry, preferably in the plant operations space.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Dutch language is required
