About The Role

A visionary and hands-on Lead Designer is sought to join a dynamic design team. This position is fully remote with the possibility of a hybrid schedule for candidates located near the Chicago, IL metro area.


The cybersecurity software produced by the hiring company is trusted by millions of individuals and organizations worldwide. Available in 21 languages and sold in over 120 countries, this company is among the fastest-growing in the cybersecurity industry and seeks a creative professional to elevate its content.


The Lead Designer will report to the Head of Product Design and will be instrumental in the conceptualization, design, and development of brand campaigns, concepts, and assets.


Responsibilities

- Oversee and review marketing design projects from inception to completion.

- Review work produced by junior designers to ensure high quality.

- Communicate strategies and concepts with C-suite executives.

- Create innovative designs for diverse media including presentation decks, digital advertisements, social media graphics, blogs, infographics, email campaigns, website graphics, and more.

- Generate ideas to visually represent concepts and advertise products/services.

- Maintain a polished and consistent brand identity across all applications.

- Edit and refine existing designs and templates.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to assist with the creative and production processes for various projects.

- Partner with other teams to develop creative solutions for new product launches, promotions, announcements, and helpful content.


Requirements

- 5+ years of professional graphic and creative design experience, demonstrating a proven ability to develop impactful campaigns and initiatives while leading all aspects of design.

- Strong understanding of typography and the effective use of brand colors, images, and fonts to ensure clarity and functionality.

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

- Familiarity with Figma, AI video, and still imagery is advantageous.

- Experience in preparing designs for print, including brochures, labels, business cards, and other marketing materials.

- Capability to exhibit a variety of styles and techniques to visualize and bring concepts to life.

- Experience in managing people with a passion for attracting and nurturing talent.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members.

- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and cross-functional groups.

- Strong multitasking abilities, staying organized and meeting deadlines across numerous projects.

- A robust portfolio that showcases a wide range of creative work across different media, including digital, print, video, and experiential.

- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field is preferred.
