Job Purpose:
We are looking for a new Commercial Account Manager with strong solution-selling capabilities. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and high-performing sales executive to join our successful team focused on the global technology brand Hitachi Vantara.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners in your territory
- Be seen as a trusted advisor by proactively maintaining strategic relationships with key decision makers through regular face to face customer visits
- Articulate Hitachi Vantara’s industry leading technology solutions, which include Hybrid Cloud, On prem storage, mid-range, converged, hyper converged and many more
- Identify new project opportunities and drive new business across the region regardless of company size to expand our presence within the region
- Develop tailored customer value propositions based on a deep understanding of their business requirements and work closely with the vendor and our Infrastructure colleagues
- Leverage customer insights through profiling and account analysis, creating and taking actions to maximize opportunities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of essential reports, customer profiles and general administration using TD SYNNEX systems, including CRM
- Maintain and improve customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Proven experience in software/ enterprise solution-selling with a major vendor, distributor or system integrator (at least 3-5 years)
- Strong understanding of the IT data solutions market, particularly storage/ infrastructure
- A track record of sales achievements in high value orders within the new business or account management environment
- Self-motivated and independent, able to work effectively without close supervision
- Ability to act as a consultant and expert, generating interest in our solutions
- Continuously seek to improve and build upon knowledge of market trends including environmental and competitive factors
- Ability to probe, listen, qualify and resolve concerns or obstacles to a sale in a logical fashion, emphasizing the Hitachi Vantara solutions that will deliver maximum benefit.
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills, fluent in German and English.
