- Prepare and process approximately 300 quote requests per month with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Utilize the employer's proprietary quoting system and various carrier/vendor quoting systems to generate quotes
- Provide consultative services to customers to ensure quotes meet their specifications
- Communicate any system malfunctions to the IT department for timely resolution
- Assist agents with inquiries while using the employer's website for quoting
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills and strong written and oral communication abilities
- Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly beginning-intermediate Excel
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in the insurance industry or a related field
- Familiarity with quoting systems or tools used in insurance services
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt to changing workload demands
