Job Description

Partners with sales colleagues in the development and closing of sales opportunities. Serves as technical subject matter expert and consults the sales team and client on DN product and service offerings. Assists in the sales cycle from discovery to close. Designs customer solutions that achieve business and financial goals as well as meet or exceed client business and functional requirements. Documents detailed client requirements and initiates any required scoping efforts or planning with internal partners to ensure successful solution delivery. Evaluates product performance, market needs and client satisfaction, providing feedback to product teams to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of the company's product and services portfolio. Conducts live and remote demonstrations and makes presentations to prospective customers clearly articulating the value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Provides standard and routine Pre-Sales Engineering services for an assigned product area or customer base.
  • Works in partnership with vendors and multiple departments, including Client Services and Sales to further promote company products and services.
  • Participates in sales client calls and onsite meetings by demonstrating products, handling technical questions and helping customers understand DN capabilities versus the competition.
  • Assists in coordination, planning and delivery of regular product training sessions for sales team members.
  • Assists with scoping, management and execution of customer pilots and proofs of concept.
  • Performs remote or onsite product demonstrations.
  • Aligns with the Support Groups for monitoring product performance and addressing issues throughout the sales process and post-installation.
  • Provides onsite and / or remote systems and technical support.
  • Identifies and recommends upselling opportunities based on customer needs / expectations.
  • Escalates complex and/or significant issues to higher levels for resolution.


Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Pre Sales Engineering.
  • Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
