About The Role
The Operations Manager role focuses on optimizing the company's logistics operations to ensure efficient importation, storage, and distribution of products. This position is essential in maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction while managing relationships with freight forwarders, 3PL partners, and wholesale receiving departments.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating inbound and outbound shipping
- Managing order fulfillment processes
- Overseeing inventory management and audits
- Maintaining efficient movement of goods
- Managing 3PL relationships
- Implementing process improvements
- Ensuring accurate invoicing and documentation
- Upholding regulatory compliance standards
- Reports directly to the COO
- Involves travel for partner engagements and relationship development
- Requires experience in working with factories to deliver quality results
- Ideally seeks candidates with 5+ years of supply chain/logistics/fulfillment experience
- Collaborates with multiple departments on a daily basis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields preferred
- Proven experience in logistics management
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and fulfillment technologies
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex logistics issues
- Proficient in project management and international trade regulations
