About The Role

A growing FinTech firm is searching for a Market Operations Analyst. The primary focus of this role is customer service, serving as the first point of contact for exchange members, ensuring timely responses and ticket logging for all interactions. Other responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting of the exchange. The team will play a key role in identifying and mitigating operational risks and attending to member requests. Clear and constant communication across various internal and external departments will be necessary.


The company currently has a U.S. presence in these states:** California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.

What You’ll Do

- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address Jira tickets

- Investigate issues using internal/external tools

- Liaise with other Market Operations Analysts and various internal/external groups to resolve issues

- Conduct ad-hoc project work as required

- Obtain certifications


Requirements

- Ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of trade desk or operations desk experience at a broker dealer or exchange

- Effective and clear communicator capable of handling complex issues with customers and internal groups in high-pressure situations

- Experience supporting FIX and SBE Protocols

- Strong data analytics capabilities with the ability to write basic queries in SQL, Groovy, or Python

- Must be confident in working with real-time monitoring to identify issues and help solve problems

- Knowledge of U.S. Equity markets, market structure, and clearing

- Knowledge of U.S. Options markets is a plus

- Willingness to obtain necessary licenses as directed by Compliance

- Desire to learn new things and adapt in a rapidly changing environment

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a complex operational setting

- Self-starter with the capability to work independently

Salary Range

$90,000 – 150,000 USD
