Our team works on enabling organizations improve internal communications with their frontline workforce and enables the frontline workforce through Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. We are looking for a Software Engineer II with demonstrated experience in software development design and implementation to join us in Microsoft Teams! By joining our team, you will tackle a wide variety of core engineering problems and build solutions that leverage multiple technologies (including but not limited to C#, React, Azure Service Fabric, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Kubernetes, Microsoft Graph, M365 AI Platform, etc.). Tailoring and extending existing communications and AI capabilities to Frontline use cases is an essential piece of helping customers digitally transform their own business processes and industries. Our team works on ensuring communications and workflows in Microsoft Teams meets Frontline needs and we partner closely with teams in M365 (including but not limited to Sharepoint, Planner, Viva etc.) to deliver intelligent solutions (building on Microsoft’s AI platforms) and quality products to customers. Responsibilities
- As a developer, you will own the development lifecycle of your features. You will come up with the software design and execution plans for your features, implement, test and merge your code, and monitor your features once they deploy to production.
- During implementation, you will code with diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability in mind and ship your code alongside appropriate test automation. You will learn about and apply best practices in coding patterns wherever possible.
- You will contribute to your peers and team-mates by reviewing their code.
- You will use feature rollout flags to enable new features and experimentation (e.g. A/B testing) to evaluate features in production.
- Once the code is in production, you will ensure your features are monitored and equipped with appropriate metrics, logs, telemetry, and troubleshooting-guides.
- You will learn about and stay abreast of the implications of privacy, security, compliance and responsible AI requirements with guidance from your technical leaders.
- You will contribute to operations of our live services on a rotational, on-call basis as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and mitigate issues by following troubleshooting guides.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or React
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of experience in Web Development using React, TypeScript, HTML5.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or React
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or React
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in using HTML, React & JavaScript/Typescript frameworks for large scale front end experiences.
- Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Experience with building AI features is a bonus.
